Homegrown team building is hard. I have no inside players, training guards, and I have a 6'8 HOF potential guy that is obviously getting trained as a guard. It's a long slow process, but I'm enjoying it. It's definitely tempting to just start buying guys but I keep finding ways to spend money without buying players, so I end up abstaining. So what do you guys think? I play run and gun because my guards are my best guys and I have garbage inside players. Should I switch it up a little and try different tactics?

If one of them is also a solid scorer, patient. GDP would be different again if people are guessing your RNG all the time.

You know, at this point, building HGT is easy for me (no big goals to reach of cours). I'm training 6 players (close your eyes at their pot :)) and I do same training for big guys and guards (reb, od, id, pass and etc).
What I'm trying to do, to see how many different tactics I can use with such team and the starting line up is the same. And I think, that my tactical choise is pritty good at this point: low post - (91641636), patient - (91641643), princeton - (91641664) and motion - (91641657).

Just signed up a few days ago. Haven't bid on anyone yet and came across about being a homegrown team. It sounds pretty cool especially to start literally at ground zero and save some money now to advance in a few years. Just bought a 25k superior trainer that cost me almost all of my opening balance haha

Here's to building!

I have an all Canadian roster all drafted by me.

I have signed players from other countries before, but they don't stick too long.
