Nothing gets by you. Have you been training "stay in front of chicken"?

Don't ask anyone that. You never know what they'll end up believing. As an example, and at the risk of getting myself in trouble, here's an example of a very real recent message exchange I just had with a user to remain anonymous. (For the record, I'm actually quite helpful, but every so often I get these questions that beg for these sorts of responses, and on a bad day I actually given them.) I'm sure you all can follow the original question, my response, and the follow up question.

Amazing players with tons of legendary skills but really low salaries, mostly under $6,000, can be bought there for between $5,000-10,000. Just don't tell anybody about this.

Yes, I actually slapped my head with that last question.

Don't ask what sort of Chunks they are, you probably don't want to know. Blowing Chunks since Season 4!

Lol, I would be laughing so hard if someone asked a GM:

"is there any cheat engine we could use in this game?"

HahahhahahahahhahahaDD

hey there,

I just wanted to give an update to this issue. As stated earlier in this thread, I more or less accidentally bought one of these players that never made a free throw in 5 or 6 seasons. I gave this player one week of free throw training. As to be expected the sub was low that there was no skill up at this player.

but since then the player did not made such a large amount of free throws as to make a solid statement, but there is quite a hint that this only training brought him up to around at least 20% (league games 1/4, cup 3/8).

cheers

I think the problem isnt necessarily with atrocious free throws, but more with atrocious skills in general. I had a PG 3-4 seasons backs with great skills, but atrocious passing. He never recorded an assist with me. Thats insane.

I think just cuz a skill is atrocious, doesn't mean that that player should never be able to use that skill.

I disagree completely.

Number one, assists in this game are much harder to get than in the NBA (for guards at least). An assist really means the player helped out with scoring. Therefore, if a player is atrocious in passing he should be able to help others score at all. If he could, it would devalue higher passing. If your main concern is "how can a player be able to handle/shoot the ball without being able to pass at all, then I believe the new training system takes care of that partially.

If your player played as PG as well there's a high likelihood of him going against good ODs. From personal experience, I know good defenders can make it very hard for bad passers to pick up assists.

people going 0-1000 and similar statistical improbabilties in BB is insane. Put a guy out the crowd at half court and blindfold him and i guarantee he makes at least one or two shots eventually just because of the repetition factor. For a paid pro to go 0 from 1000 in one of the most fundamental aspects of the sport is just criminal , a 7 year old who's never picked up a ball in his life could shoot better in all honesty , its not impropable , its IMPOSSIBLE for such stats to exist. But as has been mentioned before , the GMs are in a tight spot here as its just not feasable to implement a lower floor of around 30%. alot of things dont mirror real life in this game so it is probaly best not to change this at all

And has been offered up before it takes literally only one week of training to bump that percentage up to almost 20%, so why someone wouldn't train it once is ridiculous.
