Finally.... See you next season.

Congrats and welcome home Calum ... but can you not bring along your big bag of cash? ;)

Thanks! Unfortunately that 'big bag of cash' no longer exists. I was a bit lazy over the last couple of seasons and didn't make the push 2 seasons ago for promotion when it would've been 'cheap' to do so. As such, my training outstripped my income and I've run at -$150k a week for more than a season and, well, I have about enough for a back-up C and PG... rather than the 'war chest' i should've had!

I'm ~90% sure I can't make a push for my 4th title, but you never know! Looking forward to it.

I month ago I was ready to blow up the team and I sold my best player. I didn't think my team build was quite right to even make a finals. So to steal a game from an elite team is quite an accomplishment. Congratulations, Arizona.

Thanks a bunch TnT! If you'd told me I would've won the double this season, I would've thought you were crazy (or that Hassan, Procta and a couple other teams went bot)!

Really satisfying end to my run with this iteration of the Cacti. Fingers crossed that I can make some money off transfers, stick around for a season or two and get back up here before too long!

I thought you might see my LI coming tonight. But I went "damn the torpedoes" anyways.

I'm still trying to figure out how you correctly chose "balanced" in game 2. I thought I was running LP and LI at least 60% of the time, and base/push 40%. I'll have to look at the game logs.

i wonder how many players like Arthur Glass have existed in BB. that's as close to an ideal player (from an owner's perspective), as i could imagine:

-- "home grown" draftee
-- very well trained
-- NT player
-- MVP
-- perennial all-star
-- spent entire (long) career with one team

i just wonder how much merchandise sales were boosted by such a resume. i am guessing the merchandise boost paid for half his salary. in some ways, producing and keeping such a player as Glass is as great an accomplishment as winning the Title this season. well done!

There are very few players with two different potentials. He's definitely special.

The whole process with Glass has been a blast. My wife hates BuzzerBeater because of how much time I dedicate to it but will randomly ask me how many 3 pointers Glass made in a game. This currently might be the first time he's been on the TL.

Helped too that a RL friend of mine drafted another pretty good player (28414864) either that same season or one later and we would track their training and discuss what our goals were for them. His guy played for the U21 while Glass made more of a splash later.

It'll be sad to see him (eventually) go!

LOL please do not dig up any more pictures of Jerry's dark and troubled past. We worked hard to put that behind him. I need him to focus on leading these Dogs to a championship. :)
