You still pay for the money needed to win the bid though. MONEY IS STILL SPENT.
The same principle is still there.

All B3 games are all kind of like... 'finals'. It is an achievement made only by a few who win the cup or league.

To make the play-offs you need to win many league games. When you buy a player just for the play-offs you only pay his salary for a short time.

The debate is clear. Long term planning does not work, due to the current possiblity to sign up monsters for 1 or 2 specific games.
It is happening now in the Transfer List, to sign up a 400k+ player for this Saturday game, to be sold on Sunday, not to pay his wage on Monday. It is truly unfair for other teams.

I suggest to include special detriments on this kind of players when they are re-sold. That is, to have a 50% income of the movement, instead of 80% more or less.

Another option is to make players earn their money instead of waiting for Monday.

And for BBB stuff, if would be good to have the same roster in, for example, the final 3 rounds (this would definitely help planners and diminish the number of beast-buyers-for-specific-purpose).

Ok, I haven't made any calculations what would happen to the game and market... but I was thinking about switching the salary formula around a little bit - I mean, for higher skill levels the salary raise would slow down (the peak could be at skills around 13-15 and wages around 70-140k). That would make it possible to train good players without making them monsters... and they would still cost big money, which they deserve. After all, the game is to train players and have them as better as possible. Otherwise, there's just a pile of those unwanted salary eaters, but people have spent time to train them, so you should be rewarded for that, not to be criticized.

I know that game stats would go up, but hey - there's 20 levels of space and I haven't seen much more than 13-14 (even for the BBB final teams this year).

Just an idea, maybe after a deeper research, it wouldn't be that good :)

Good players are balanced and don't cost 500k.
The only reason they cost loads is because they only train 3 skills really high.
If they had some guard skills I doubt there salary would get above 300k easily.

I think you still don't get it.

Yes, I can pay three salaries for a player I bought before playoff, win, and sell him. But I don't pay a player whose salary exceeds payroll of my whole roster! I will not buy two 500k players and pay 3 million in three weeks. I can't afford that.

You still pay for the money needed to win the bid though. MONEY IS STILL SPENT.
The same principle is still there.

No it's not, because you sell the player immediately after the B3 game and with 30% of taxes, you lose what...300 or 400k? Actually you lose less than the salary of the player.

Now imagine the same player is bought by a team for the playoffs. In addition to those 400k lost because of sell taxes, he has to pay him 1,5 million for three weeks he needs him to win the finals.

Are you really telling me there is no difference???

make daily salary instead of weekly. economic update would run with daily updates, so you'll pay 1/7 of weekly salary each day you keep the player.

Sure. Silves is the worse player I have seen in my life. He made only 42 minutes, 15-25 from the field, 18 rebounds, 35 points and 19,0 ratings on a game so unimportant as the B3 finals. He was a bless for Larrañaga, if he weren't on court probably Larrañaga would have lost for 30 points instead of 13 since Silves is such a lousy player.

Then we get to another point - make every type of training available to any position (as an example... to choose single PF or single C position training on JS)... otherwise, I'm training big guys and I can't afford to play them in other positions just to get those small player skills... I play in 1st Division of my country, I simply can't do that - or else, I will fuck up my team stats and loose all games.

Money is still spent.
So what if he doesn't pay salaries? This is a tactic and seemed to work.
I don't know why you're upset about this because you never made B3.

He played for Tukums.
If he is so good why don't you buy him?

Choose training -> One on One -> Forwards.
Making your C play at PF is gonna hurt.
