4) To answer another question that has been raised on here, staff salaries do not go up indefinitely, as it would make no sense for a level 2 staff member to eventually be making $100k/week. So if you really ignore your staff, you'll end up overpaying by a decent factor, but if you're willing to pay higher prices, you can keep a staff member forever and opt out of the system in that way, too.

Wow - better get that I spent $5mil for this stupid trophy designed...

If you can obtain a lvl 7 trainer and keep and then the salary freezes (albeit at an inflated level) then maybe the 1mil+ figures aren't inconceivable after all....

I guess we have to wait to see if the owners of these managers reveal how much faster they think the trainers help improve skill ups by.

Great effort to explain the decisions.

HTs should learn from you.

only a suggestion: is it difficult to maintain both the systems for 2-3 seasons(like the youth players in HT)?in this case users can choose the market or the old system(if they don't have time to bid)

Given how different the systems and the staff members themselves are, I don't think this can be an option. But then again, if you don't have time to bid I guess you can just eat the salary increase.

Thank you for answering my question I appreciate that.

I´d like to give briefly my opinion on the new staff system:

- The new staff system is much better than the old one. However, after some time most user were so familiar with it that it's now hard to say goodbye to our dear clons!

- The bidding system adds some interest for those who love the market and of course put more pressure to those who doesn´t like it / does not have time.

- Most people don´t like the weekly increasing salary, as they didn´t like the previous decreasing skills with the same salary. In fact it's the same thing, so it's logical that people don´t like it. In my opinion, people would accept more easily to have "more salary -> more skill" (maybe sub-levels), or "less skill -> less salary". Both ways are more familiar to us, and they seem much more logical.

- Personally, I don´t like the specialities of the staff. The idea is good, but some of them are mixing game concepts and they can make the game more difficult than it already is. I hope the effect is small.

* Doctors---> Injuries OK / Doctors --> Game Shape ??? Don´t like at all.
* Trainers---> Old-player skills OK / Trainers ---> Stamina ??? Don´t like.
* PR manager --> Both OK.

- Finally... a complaint... ;-) We spent so much time explaining in the forums that doctors do not decrease the injury time once it is produced...

Now you won't have to do it anymore, isn't it wonderful?

I think the effect of specialties is going to be very, very small.

If so, even more suck for those that are overpaying for the staff.
