Also I think a loan system would be helpful. That way if teams have young players that aren't ready to be in the top twelve can earn experience playing for other teams.

a loan system would be pretty complicated, especially if you like avoid cheating.

And i don't think, that xp is that improtant, that one level in it(where you have loan your player 2 season), will make him better ... He probadly will have less chanches in your team, because your team normally gets better with the time.

This will not happen due to cheating concerns.

What about loaning our players only in foreign countries? This way a cheater couldn't loan his player to his other team...

The "Looking to buy a new player?" thingy in the club management overview is neat, but would be even nicer if you could roughly specify what you're looking for. It would be a nice helper if you're currently looking for "that missing piece" on your team and would save you the trouble of searching the market every 3rd day. Let's say you could tab any given search you do in the transfer list as your "default search", and this feature could utilize the default setting when suggesting a player?

Of course, if no match is found, it could pick a player like it does today... Sound any good?

Just to get this back on topic (this isn't about loans), I think this is theoretically an excellent idea.

It might be expensive to have to run a separate query for each user's preference, though... but only the BBs know.

Maybe have a small matrix of combinations you could choose? guard/swing/big, offensive/balanced/defensive, young/medium/old, cheap/medium/elite.

Yes, something a bit more custom made would make this a terrific feature. Although I don't know what the current algorithm does, it seems pretty simple - proposing players that's just within reach of my current cash reserve, rather than based on weaknesses of my team... A tune-up, not too search intensive, could e.g. be like you suggest - some rough categories - pre-indexed and cached for easy display.
