A level 5 trainer is a level 5 trainer, no magic beyond that. If you have a meaningful training program, you will see improvements in your players' skills. Changes in DMI (Deliberately Meaningless Index) are not a good indication of the effect your trainer has. A drop in DMI is probably caused by a drop in game shape.

If you are unsure how training works, spend a little time looking at all the training threads in the help forum.

no
DMI or game-shape has nothing to do with the speed of training
only age, coach level and the number positions you choose to train affect this
also hight matters

Not sure if u want to train guards or big men. Neither guy is that great. 1st guy would be great if he was 18 or even 19 but at 21 his training will slow so he is just average imo. 2nd guy is younger and ok potential but would be harder to train as a guard due to his height, OD and handling are a problem at the moment to.

Hmm again 1st guy is ok but not ideal as he is fairly short for a big man trainee. Be better if the 2nd guy was 18 but he is an alright trainee at SG.
