This system is not making me happy (you know there's always someone complaining ;)

I only got three players from my country in my team, one of them just coming from the bench and the other one old enough for me (25 years) to sell him.
I don't want to sell one of them, because I'm scared of the consequences that may occur with it.

So my team hasn't got real stars (15,000$ isn't a "star" salary imo), little amount of home players and Austria is not the biggest country in the world, so the number of rookies per year is smaller and so is the number of players on the transfer list.
So no chances of getting a good native player for me there to raise my merchandise bonus either.

I'm allready 15,000$ under the avarage merchandise money per week and I don't wanna get this lower than it allready is.

How am I supposed to get out of this mess...?
It will take a lot of time, work and luck on the draft to get this financial situation right again.
I have never expected this to make such an impact on the game.

How am I supposed to deal with the recent high (and they should keep rising if i read that correctly) transfer market prices since my team doesn't go hand in hand with the new rules?

cheers

You prolly hava a low level pr-manager. In countrys with small userbase, you also have less people eyeing for those national players. I have just one decent Estonian in my team and I am doing fine.

I'm sorry if I missed something there, but does the level of the PR Manager an effect on the merchandise?

I thought those were just here to fill your stadium with people.

LA-Kukoc is spot on. The PR level does indeed affect the merchandise sold and the number of arena tickets sold. The PR level is obviously not the only thing that affects those sales, but that contribution is not insignificant.

Well thank you then, learned something again.

Just wondering why it is not stated in the "game manual"...

Is merchandising also influed by good performence of my drafted dutchman in cupgames? I guess it is, but just want to check it to be sure..If yes, is performence in competition games more important compared to cupgames?
