no matter who did or when, the records are for the leagues they took place only and forever , not for a player or a team. until someone break that record nothing will be changed.

Well, as we don't know for sure if those are not considered in merchandising formulas so any attempts to remove them (especially thos from very early seasons) are quite legit.
