That's an excellent player for the bottom division.

re: Salary
The salary of players i only changed during the offseason. If he's improved significantly since the salary update his salary won't reflect his skills.

re: Shooting percentage
A few things to keep in mind are that:
a) He needs other players to get him the ball in good situations. How is the passing/handling of your PG? Other players? What sort of Offensive flow ratings are you putting up?
b) His relatively low (but still decent for div IV) passing means he'll take bad shots because he can't pass out of the situation.

Is he playing shooting guard for you?

no he plays PG, and normally he shoots 36% - such think happen when a offense base on one player those player have good and bad shootings nights. And he not only makes impossible shots when the shot clock expires, he also takes difficult shots when he is thinking that his teammates won't get a better one because of their skills.(that also the reason why he shoots that's often).

50% 3pt shooting is a bit ambitious, wouldn't you say?

I'm not saying it's impossible, it's just unusual. Your SG had a great season, but the season before he shot less 3's with a worse percentage. For a regular 3-pt shooter anything between 30 and 40% is normal. Higher than 40 is great

if you want him to play well, position him as sg and play outside focus offense. but i think it is more important to win games and if you do not have anyone better suited for pg than him, you have to accept his shooting performance because pgs usually play low percentages. also respectable ıs not superb for range.
