Todays Matches Reviews

We start with the game of Cyprus Fighters against BC Teammate. We all expected a great game but unfortunately BC Teammate decided it would be wiser to gain on enthousiasm and loss the first place. What would this accomplish? Apparently the manager believes it is wiser for its team to get an easy game in the first round of the playoffs and thus come across the winner between Cyprus Fighters and Passif Aggresifs with extra enthousiasm. A plan that we find very very risky and probably not the correct one. But maybe the manager of BC Teammate knows something more than us? We shall see when the time comes.

Finally we come to the second derby, Pistoleroi against Bros. Both teams nearly equal with different game planning and different player capabilities. The game took place in Pistoleros home court Mythos. A game that can only be characterized as a great match up. A game on the knife edge that had nearly everything. Up and downs, great offenses, great defenses, turnovers, the whole pack. At the very end Bros managed to remain on top and win the game with 107-102.
Deligeorgiou managed to perform his best game ever with 31 points from which 6-12 3pointers. Charavgis with 26 points with 3-7 3pointers was exceptional as always and played a special role in the win. Valiokas and Xarpell together managed 27 points mainly from long distances.
Pathos, manager of Bros, made the right decision on attack, in contrast to Pistoleros that decided on the very last minute to change their defensive planning from man to man to 2-3 zone, a decision that killed the team since Bros was attacking as R&G. Surely this decision marked the outcome of the game.
On the losing team, Macko managed a total of 27 points but with only 1-7 3pointers, Rigellis performed exceptionally with 22 points and 4 offensive rebounds. Duarte the outside star of the team did not reach its pick as he scored 15 points with 1-4 3pointers.
Finally we reach the big guys. Bros super talents Aranzana and Fucai managed a total of 16 points and 20 rebounds. In contrast, Florakis played 48 minutes and managed 13 points and 13 rebounds, Leao 14 points and 11 rebounds and finally the new player Korsic, a super talent who only played for 11 minutes, 2 points and 6 rebounds. Overall Pistoleros achieved 54 rebounds with 11 offensive ones while Bros managed 39 with 4. This domination of Pistoleroi was counterbalanced by the tremendous percentage of Bros outside the line 6,25 meters with 12-29 3pointers packing a sum of 36 points.
Overall a great performance by Bros locked the win and helped the team on step closer to the second place of the Great 8 conference. On the opposing site the fans seemed to be gutted after the end of the game tearing their tickets and players jerseys.
After the game we managed to get an interview by Pistoleros manager who claimed: "The team is in a great upcoming road despite todays loss. Just remember how the team performed last year and compare it to this year. I am sure that God willing next year Pistoleros will be even stronger. Surely we are disappointed by the result with Bros, congrats to Pathos for a big win, but we put the game behind us and look forward to the next match with Zeys. Lets hope the team will do better in the playoffs against Megalonisos."

Thats all we have time for today. See you all next week!

Dear viewers, we come live to you once again. No time will be taken to analyze any of the games that took place on Tuesday since nothing interesting happened. Only brief mentioning should be given to the away win of Ekleptismenoi againsr Bros with the score of 127-113 in over time.
As for the playoffs the pairs have been set already. In Great 8 we have:
1. Megalonisos VS Pistoleroi.
2. Ekleptismenoi VS Bros
There are not much to say since Megalonisos as well as Ekleptismenoi hold the home court advantage. Surely an easy win for Megalonisos and most likely a battle between Ekleptismenoi and Bros.
In Big 8 the pairs are similar with an easy first round schedule for BC Teammate.

Lets just wait for the results!
