Just get an Advanced trainer and do 2 position training. It's easy to be competitive in Division V, so you can try to do so even without spending money on the transfer list. Looking at your team, you should probably try to buy 3 or 4 cheap 18 year old players to use as your trainees. Your current roster doesn't look like it has any good trainees, except maybe your 19 year old.

Anyway, personally I think spending 10K on scouting is optimal. The draft is somewhat random and with 10K you should be able to identify a couple of good draft picks. Plus, in Division V, there will be several Bot teams that will do worse than you and have better draft positions, plus the new owners will get extra information for the draft.

As for your decent pg prospect, he's 19 already and I seriously doubt that he will sell for the $1M you're asking. He's honestly probably only worth between $50K and $200K. So, you'll have him back and you might as well keep him and rotate him into your training. Then you can sell him after the season.

i know the tp says 1million but i wouldnt even pay 100k for him he is 19 and has really bad defence however his other skills are great so maybe someone else will go for him

if i was in such a low div i would spend 20k on scouting there is nothing like developing your own guy

Aim for an Advanced Trainer with a weekly salary between $12K-$16K per week. Very good salary for the trainer. Getting one with a specialty can be a bit expensive so unless you get lucky, it's not worth spending a lot of money on until your players are more seasoned. Look to change your arena prices to sell out or come close to selling out your arena. That will drive up your income a little. Try to settle on 12-14 players on your roster. Make sure you have 4-6 18 or 19 year olds to train each week. Make sure they play 48 minutes at the position you're training.

A good tip for you looking for trainees on the transfer list is to pick cheap 18 year old with at least average/respectable outside defense for guards or average/respectable inside defense for the bigs. B/c training defense takes way more time than training offense. So get guys who start out with decent defense.
