Instead of your suggestion, I would prefer that only 4 teams make the playoffs. Then there could be two series of 3 games each. It would make the regular season more meaningful.

However, I agree that a one game playoff is not really fair after a 22 game season.

Seems fair to college teams after 30 game seasons.

Did I say I think that system is fair? I'm not really a college bball fan. If I were to guess, I would say that the system is done that way to get the most teams involved. Another reason is probably because most of the teams do not face each other in the regular season.

I suppose the principle is the same here. But why not make the regular season mean more? I personally like the baseball approach to things. Play games in the regular season that mean something.

Well even though today I crushed, destroyed, made a joke of my worst enemy (but best friend) I still think that the playoffs should be in the 2 wins format, that would add so much to the fun! (beating him in his lousy arena would be such a delight!)

I am not a big fan of the baseball format. Too many games without interest ,during normal period, in my opinion and verry little action in the playoffs...

What do the BB think?

It would make the offseason longer, as it stands the offseason/playoffs is already 3 weeks long.

I agree that the playoffs should not be made longer. The only way I would be interested in an extra week of playoffs is if there was a bottom bracket put in for the 8 teams that do not make the playoffs.

The matches need to be spaced out and not one each day. Not everybody is able to log in everyday. Also, that would amount to way too much training minutes for the players.

That was the closest crush destruction embarrassment of a win in the history of, um, crush destruction embarrassment wins.

Play three rounds of best two out of three, using all three game days each week. If you can close out your opponent in two, your players get some rest. The playoffs should be a test of team depth.
