All teams are offered one choice of staff (doctor, trainer, PR man) per week. You'll have to wait until the next economic update for a new choice.

Does it say anywhere what the price per week difference is between the different levels of staff?

It's not written anywhere. I've also seen situations where I've had a lvl 9 trainer who has a lesser salary than a lvl 9 trainer that I could hire.

What would that be attributed to? The NBA version of Scott Boras? lol

The level 5 trainer being offered to me want $9,500 per week. Does that seem about right? Too high or low?

Well, I think the range is fairly limited. I wouldn't worry about getting ripped off. If you think your team can afford it, then, by all means, sign him up!

Do you think teams with lvl 10 trainers train twice as fast as teams with lvl 5 trainers? Or do oyu think it is scaled so that for example a lvl 2 impacts 50% more than lvl 1, lvl 3 impacts 50% more than lvl 2, etc?

The higher the level you go, the less of an increase in training speed you see.

Just so its known, trainers do lose skill over time. My level 10 trainer dropped to level 9 this week.

How long did you have him? Did his wage change?

Wages do not decrease only the level of the trainer and the ability to train.

The idea is that the trainer signs a contract and is always paid the same amount.

Another thing to note is that ALL level 9 trainers train at the same level regardless of their salary.

And trainers decrease level the longer you have them (I think) the BB's once described it as if staff are not fired regularly then staff are not scared and relax instead.
