By placing 6th or 7th, you play qualification matches. In theory, more matches = more minutes for more players = more training.

The argument Steve is making, however, is that teams playing qualification matches can't be flexible with their lineups because it's do or die, so training can't really be optimized.

Gotcha.

If you make the playoffs and you lose your first playoff match, is there a losers bracket?

OK, then are you automatically put in friendly game for the remaining weeks, like those teams that didn't make the playoffs? If you aren't, then those teams that lose the 1st round playoff match sit for 2 weeks?

They will have a scrimmage on the next Saturday just like non-playoff teams.
