1) If his wages will go up them clearly at the start of next season, but probably then either way.
2) I can't remember and would have to look it up but somewhere around $80,000 I think.
3) Well they slow a lot by age 22 and by 24 only the best are still worth training, but 26 probably no-one is as I have heard estimates as low as two pops per season.

To clarify, I'm not training the player in question 1 besides maybe 1 random rebounding pop this season. Also, if #3's true should I train my 21 (will be 22 next season, and yes it's a different guy than in #1) player as one of my 3 trainees?

You have a 19 year old MVP and 19 year old superstar with about 8k wages and a 21 year old superstar with $17,000 wages. He is a bit behind but I would think he would still be worth training but it could depend a bit on how good his secondaries are. However if you can get him up to around triple tremendous or better he will sell for a lot more than he would at triple prolific but you have to consider who else will you be training. The main advantage of continuing to train the 21 year old will be you can play him in the most difficult game of the week and still have a chance to win it.

#3 is not necessarily true. I had a 26 year old pop 4 times this season and he didn't receive training every week. I had a 26 year old pop 7 times two seasons ago.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

A 36 year old can pop 4 times in one week if the sublevels are good enough but it doesn't prove that training a 36 year old is a good idea.

No, he probably means a 36 year old and 4 pops in one week.
For example, let's say you have a 36 year old that this past week received full JS training for guards. Let's assume that all his sublevels in JS, JR, HN, and DR are at 0.99999. In this case, it would certainly be possible that all four of these skills would pop. Again, it is very unlikely, but it could happen.

What this has to do with my point remains a mystery to me. It does point out that the older a player is the higher his various sublevels may be, and also in a contextual way should point out that even if a "pop" does not occur, a player who is trained improves in the skills in which he is being trained.

My point was and still is that training players that are 26 is not a useless endeavor.
My 26 year old this season had 8 two position weeks, 1 single position week, and three team trainings.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

It never hurts to train a player, BUT... look at the transfer market. If you can buy a player with the same skills as your trainee, but younger (the younger the better), then buy this younger guy and sell your 26 year old.
