To achieve a top selling price, Passing 8 is decent for a PF, a little better would help. Passing 8 is by far to low for an SF. I would go for 10 to 12. If the PF is designed for creating mismatches in LI against SFs (OD of 12 or more), then high SF passing levels are very useful. This type of player requires however many seasons of highly focused training out of position. And height should be adequate.

from my experience princeton offence meshes very well with good passing skills. although i´m just playing in div.IV i think the mix of princeton and good passing is very beneficial.

just my 2 cents...m0nkey. :)

I'm not planning to sell my trainees.

I know it will take a long time to create such a player and also play him a lot out of position. I'm trying to get their OD up now to 13 and 8/9 and then I'll get their passing up. Since both have level 8 in passing I think I will make it depending on my SF and let him reach 10 or 11. My PF should be about 2 skills higher then, because he is 3 years younger and has a higher sub-skill. Do you think thats a good idea?

My PF is 2,06m. I know its pretty high for guard-skill training, but I want him to be a really versatile big man, no matter how long it will take.

The SF should have 11 at least - again: if you want to sell in the long term. If you want to promote to league II, my recommandation would be to build a balanced team. By training such superstars I am not sure how you will get there.

Your plan is good.

I've already created my own guards who are among the best of my league. Now I'm on my way to have a very good SF after a few more seasons and am also starting to train my future PF. Of course I want to promote and want to have a competitive team. In general I'm planning long term, thats why I want to create really good players so I don't have to worry they will be too weak in a couple seasons.
Thats why I seek some opinions about how much is considered to be a (very) good big man passing skill.

And also, since it takes many seasons to create such players, they won't be superstars too soon:)

I'm curious if anyone has experience with playing a Center or PF with a decent passing skill like 9 or 10 or even higher. With which tactics can you benefit from it the best, if you benefit from it anyways.

I'm asking because I'm currently creating an SF and a PF for the future. Both of them have an 8 so far. My PF has HoF potential, so I don't have to worry about the cap.

Hi,

i have a dude called Hansrolf..if u checkin his skills and salary he is far away from beeing competitive but he performing very well..ergo, its not the worst decision than u increase the passing skill :-)

Yea, your dude Hansrolf is has some decent skills. I thought of a PF with his secondaries. Of course I'd want his inside skills to be much higher, but this one is a nice one. Although I'd rather set him as SF.
4,5 assists and 0.5 TOs is really nice.

I am also training PF at the moment. I plan to get his passing to 9/10 next season and stop there. This should create quite nice matchup. Range will stop aat respectable/strong. i dont believe that PF needs more when playing against big man on defence (he already has nice 3pt shooting percentage)
