From a guy who ran the look inside all of last season I can tell you that there isn't a simple answer. I think a lot of it depends on who the hot hand is in the game and who the strongdr overall player is. In my experiences my PF did end up taking more shots than any other position in most games...but sometimes not by much. A few times my centers have more combined shots and I've even had my SF take the most once. I would say in general it is the power forward but a lot of the times it's pretty split.

There is no answer. Sometimes it's the PF, other times the C. I've had LI games this season, when my PG took the majority of the shots. I guess it depends on the quality of the players, the opposition you're facing and chance as well.

It depends on the matchups.

I look inside all of my games and there really no way to predict.
Currently this season 39% of my shots have been from my c or PF. 61% have been from other positions.

Look inside doesn't give a positional boost, but the majority of my shots are from the inside. I take very few 3 pointers and very few outside shots. My G and SF also take the majority of their shots close to the rim.

ya that also kinda sucks about LI cause the guards shoot close up and a lotta time their inside shot is sub par so it's frustrating. That's why I dumped it. I suppose if you get guards to fit that style it would help a good deal.

Statistics from my LI games this season:
PG 15.5 FGA% (50.4 FG%)
SG 22 % (41.1%)
SF 20.1 % (55.1%)
PF 21.5 % (48.9%)
C 20.9 % (60.1%)
So the FGAs are pretty evenly distributed. I don't know if LI generally looks like this or if it's just because my team is very deep and I have a lot of good inside players, especially on the SF position.

that is pretty much the norm. Shot distribution is spread evenly but most of the shots are from closer to the rim. Meaning you take way less 3 ptrs and outside jumpers.
