The opening day was offering one of the big match of the last year: Serapo vs Umbara. The rematch of the Conference Final of the last year. Umbara had something more, Serapo sold 2 keys players hoping to build something around the new rookie star!
The next match against Mobius will be very important for Serapo. Mobius is a new team but definitely moved well in the offseason.
What about you guys?

Yes, the Mobius Marauders have been making some moves early in the season. While finding some powerful inside guys and getting a couple of good trainees through the draft, the Marauders were able to beat the Heart Throbs at home. However, as a motive for preparing for their cup game and $50K, the Marauders held back and rested their stars against Serapo, while surprisingly losing by less than 20 points.

However, there's no way to go but up for the Marauders, whose current goal is to make the playoffs behind Umbara, Serapo and #4s. Although it's possible for Mobius to reach the finals of the playoffs, they have found it extremely unlikely to beat Umbara or Big Phillies so early in their Buzzerbeater career.

So, what do you think? ;)

After losing badly Game #3 vs Bronx, the Serapo GM got back on the market with an amazing PF that will bring up the level of our League! In my opinion he is definitely an MVP candidate!
About today, will Umbara and #4s stay undefeated?
Impressed with Mobius, a really nice team in a lighting, definitely a contender for the Conference Finals

Last night, Serapo got their must-win against #4s if they want to stay near the top of the Big 8, and the Mobius Marauders (again) more than doubled the computer team's score. Big Phillies is looking strong in the Great 8, and they should definitely get into the championship round.

However, it's quite noticeably become a 5-team race for 4 playoff spots in the Big 8. Who will be left out? Bronx? Mobius? Serapo? We'll have to wait until the last game of the RS to find out, I predict.

As for my team, I want to earn some more money in the coming weeks. For anyone out there watching, you should check out my cup game against the X-steppers tomorrow night! We've also circled both games next week on our calendar - 2 games against 2 tough opponents, but we think we can win (hopefully, at least against #4s)!

Important win by Mobius which is now leading the division! Monster performance of Adrian Gomez (28+20) and against Umbara an away match looks really that Mobius is going to be more than a contender, almost the team to beat on the Big 8 division.
Serapo won easily, and now will battle for the second seed with Umbara for the rest of the Season.
On the Great 8, Big Philly is the team with already one feet on the Playoff Final, who can stop him?

Season is smoking now...

Yeah, the Marauders beat the Marauders in an exciting game, which was close until Mobius was able to pull off an outstanding 4th quarter! All-star performances by Adrian Gomez (who had a 2x double-double) and Demostenes Ilundain (who also had a double-double) led the Marauders to victory!

Mobius now focuses their efforts on beating Bronx Swishers away, which is a relatively easy, but important game. They also see the consecutive games for Big Phillies (1st away against Umbara, 2nd home against Mobius) as battles that could very well shape who wins the Big 8.

In other news, Serapo's star acquisition has a stunning game against the Heart Throbs, pulling off a massive 11.5 rating. Looking at the team's roster, Mobius sees them as the #2 team in the league, and is definitely going for a better in-season record and homecourt advantage for the playoffs!

Finally, #4s now seems much weaker than they were at the beginning of the season, and looks to drop from playoff contention (unless Bronx Swishers goes inactive, which is likely to happen).

Added note: Did 813 Fiction REALLY just purchase a trainee for $688,888?

And you look a heck of a lot better.

By the way, I'm noticing you're starting to do a lot of the same things I'm trying out for my 1st season. Coincidence, or do you think you're picking up on something? ;) I'm honestly not sure myself, but I'm sticking to what works for now.

I have no idea what happened to Umbara. They definitely should have won.

Edit/Added Note: HeartThrob, I'll be sure to scrimmage you next week, if you wish! Just send me an offer before I book with someone else, and I'll accept!
