A high-level US user gave me a few pieces of good advice:

1. Don't pigeonhole your team into one offense. Create a team that can play each offense as well as another. Don't play the same defense every game. Match your defense to defend against your opponent's offense. M2M seems to work best, though.

2. Guards should be well-rounded, preferably with OD at least one skill level higher than JR and JS.

Judging by your match ratings, it looks like your team is light on OD and heavy on JR. I would fix this if I were you. Also, it looks like you could be doing a better job at managing game shape and enthusiasm. Makes a huge difference in gameplay.

If I were you, I'd find a point guard that looked something like: 10/8/12/9/10/9. I think that type of player would do well in a D.4 perimeter offense.

You don't need to be able to play every offense, you just have to have different offenses that you can play well to keep your opponents off guard. However this doesn't mean being able to play Low Post and Look Inside, as they can both be defended with a 2-3 defense. With my team I only feel comfortable running 3 offenses (RnG, BO, LI) but these offenses are very different to defend so most of my opponents will have to run M2M which allows me to run RnG or LI without worrying about my opponent countering with the correct defense. Just realize that offenses like motion and RnG while being outside based are very different offenses. Same with LI and Low Post

And with a little more passing on your guards you could run most of the other offenses as proficiently as you do these three.

Well my team is too balanced to do any isolation offenses or patient. I have good jr for RnG and motion doesn't use that enough. My guards driving is wasted in low post and my bigmen aren't great scorers. And I just don't like PTB.

About 1:

In defense you should be flexible, because you can not choose your opposition but on offense both strategys work. You dcan focus on your offense strategy and build a team which executes pretty well in that offense which makes it hard to stop even when the opposition know what is coming, or you build a team which can surprise the opposition but have more problems to beat the fitting defense.

I would get rid of the second SF and buy a PG like I mentioned in my 1st post. That will allow you to start a 3 guard lineup when you run a perimeter offense and when you'd like to go inside, you can start your SF instead.

Your PFs and Cs have decent JS and PA. It would be nice if your guards had a little bit higher OD but other than that they don't look too bad.

How come you're not training anybody?

i just bought a stud 30 yr old PF on impulse, he's an upgrade ... late nite bid :/

next ill do a PG like u suggest and swap out a SF, sounds good to try

training? im always training something, but usually passing, shooting, rebounding -- stuff where the whole team can train in it -- in scrimmages i play 3 youth players with high potential to try to bump them but its been vry slow --

It's been very slow because team training is the slowest.... SMH

First you need to decide if you want to train PG, SG, SF, Or Big's. Training 1 position is the fastest. 2 position is the 2nd fastest. By the way get some young trainees (18-19) with at least Allstar pot. With a starting salary of $3000 - $3500 off the Transfer List. You can also train players and sell them for profit when your done. Others can fill in the rest. I'm fairly new myself. Good luck!
