Actually, I don´t think "the right SF" doesn´t exist anyways. I have a C with around 95 skill who can play the SF, I have a Guard who can play the SF, and I have a guy listed SF who can play it, and depending on matchups, opponnents and tactics I tend to play one over the others. SF is a key position, but the one you cannot take isolated from all other stuff imho.

Good SFs exist, but you will rarely see them on transfer list. Nobody will pay money for what they are worth and what they can bring to the team and nobody likes to sell them under their value.

My strategy of turning a profit and saving money to buy better players has worked well at PG, SG, C and to a lesser degree PF, but I've decided that I've got to train my own SF if I want a really good one. Even most $2,000,000 SF's have weaknesses that I find unacceptable.

And the ones that are awesome, i doubt the managers wanna sell them below 4M. It's a long way before the SF reachs +100 skills, so much sacrifice.

But you know what's more hilarious? That you make a SF good in defense and he ends making 4-5(or 6) fouls against worse SF's

--Yes, indeed. Foul-prone players, at any position, are a problem. I'm currently quite frustrated that my very nice 18 yr old SF prospect is committing more than a foul per ten minutes. And he already had strong inside and outside defense. Unless something changes, I will sell him.

I've got one at 105 and 97 skillpoints and still feel they're not good enough yet, to take on the SG or C wich my opponents play at SF. I'm still sacrificing games for them while training. Simply because you have to train them at PG and C, were they play real C's and PG's.

But in 2 seasons... I can really start using them at SF.

For good outside/ 3 point shooting, your player's jump range should be equal or greater than your opponent's Outside Defense. 9 is much too low for a good SF. 12-14 is ideal.

--Pretty good. As you say, he needs a little passing. I would also give him some IS, but depending on the height of your player (and the offense you tend to play), that might not make sense. More JR/JR/OD would be nice, but is not necessary.

--Reb at 10 is a little too much, IMO, meaning the cost-to-benefit of that extra Reb skill is not worth it. To me, 8 Reb is ideal for a SF, while guards are best between 3-6.
