If it was me i would forget the older guys and just 1 position train all your new players as guards. It depends a lot on skills though.

Well you don't seem to have it right.

- Hanson is 22 and has only has a 3k salary. So having superstar or 6th man potential is unlikely to make much of a difference.
- Chestnut and Meert are big men, with lousy salaries, so I don't really see the point. You don't just train any 19 y.o. Eddy Curry that shows up. Very few teams would even train guys with these salaries starting at 18...
- Mark is also 22 with a 3k salary, also not going anywhere I think...
- Gamez and Thayer have poor salaries, so poor skills. You can find all-star potential 18 y.o. players with over 4k salary in the TL for 50k, 100k if they're really good.

So that leaves Spicola, and Curry... You can find a 3rd trainee and do 1position training which is most effective. Then when you train 2position skills (JS, DR) you can tag some of these losers along for extra pops ;)
