Trailing by as many as six points in the final quarter, the Harlan Hillbillies ralllied from behind for a dramatic win capped by a last-season 3-pointer by reserve forward Fernando Vinas, knocking IPWNU from the ranks of the unbeaten.
Harlan now assumes the role of #1 overall in Div. V.91 with their first-ever win over IPWNU.
Lucas Benoit led the way for the Hillbillies with 33 points, including 4-for-4 from three-point land. Loe Li Mei finished with a triple-double of 13 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists.
Vinas, who hit the game-winning shot, finished the game with 9 points in only eight minutes of play.
Harlan's next game is in Cup play on Thursday. The Hillbillies are the only team in V.91 remaining in the Cup.
