The only way you are able to do this is by manually setting your players as starter, backup and reserve so they won't get subbed out when up 25, or if you want them out when down by 40, just play them as a starter. Another thing I have observed while using Strictly Follow Depth Chart is that when you are in a blowout, both teams' starters will sit on the bench. Another thing is, if you play Strictly Follow Depth Chart Until 4th, you are basically letting the coach use his own judgement to try to win the game in the 4th quarter.

I agree. I run "strictly follow depth chart" in 75% of games (both of my weekly league games and the scrimmage but let coach have some control of private league games) and it is so annoying that the coach doesn't do that. Barring injuries or foul outs he should do what it says and strictly follow depth chart not sub out your 18 year old MVP trainee for the last two minutes of the scrimmage.

I have used coach picks from depth chart in the PL games a lot and I quite like what the coach does there with limited choices. But in most weeks it is no good for training, I am trying to get three guys 48+ minutes each week and the coach makes it very hard.
