What type of player would qualify as a rookie because at BB 18yos generally do not even play in their league..

Well I guess it would occur in lower leagues, where 18 year-olds play more frequently than in higher leagues. This might be a little bit off topic, but they could also have things like 6th man, and most improved (stats).

Yes I have found that statistics that you want to see require someone to go out and get them: (206778.1)

@Murl That's really cool. My one thing is that I want it to go down in BBhistory, be in my trophy case, displayed in player history. You know what I mean

Yeah that would be nice. I hope that happen in the future but for now it's a dream for D.5ers and probably D.4 managers. How did you rookie do anyway?

i think bbalin argument is the really problematic here, since not many player would compete for it in many leagues.

And also the other award, are a bit weird. i don't like the 6th men award in reality, since it is usually won by starter who get subbed in the first or second break in the game ... But in BB every "6th men" would have several starts(close to the amount of start of the starters), for the game shape, or not significant minutes besides blowouts.

And the MIP, maybe possible and probadly not so hard to implement like the other one since you really could look at a number comparisions. But on the other hand, this award will most likely go, to a player who moved into the rotation maybe because, the team removed deepth at the big position in exchange for an extra guard etc. This roster change may come through his better abilities, but i think in many cases it is just an tactical change.

the trouble is in most leagues even the top ones lots of managers dont participate

if u are allowed to vote for yourself most would

if u arent allowed to vote for yourself & there will probably only be a handful of people voting then there is a big disincentive to vote cause your vote could cost your players

in out private league with all supporters who have all voulnteered to join the league & are really obsessed bb players in general we had a vote on our all star team and only 12/48 people voted
