Im not sure if there are any threads, but I am pretty sure LP is a slower paced offense compared to LI. Just my two cents.

LP slower, less-guards involved offence. If your centers have low passing, or driving they will be forced to shot bad shot. But in the other hand if you have a monoskiled tree he may drop 40 poiints 60% accurate.

Thanks guys.

Just thinking about LP itself in a real game, all the guards would have to have is good passing. The bigs would just have to be able to dominate, good IS and probably reasonable DR and HA and maybe a bit of JS.

But is this how the game engine does it?

To me, LI would mean that ALL of the players are looking inside. So if all players had a reasonable IS stat, it would be worth it. However, if only the bigs had a strong IS stat, LP would be better. That makes sense to me, but can someone show me different?

I play mostly either low post when looking to exploit the opponent's interior defense, or motion, if the opponent has weak defense.

I don't agree that LP gives less involvement of your guards in shooting the ball. In fact, compared with looking at other people's LI results, I think there can be more guard involvement in LP. It would be best if I had done more LI games, to compare the results using my own players, so it's not a super strong conclusion. Still, my sense is that if you have good passing on all your players, and you have guards with good driving and inside shot, then LP can work with the bigs able to get the ball to the guards.

On the other hand, if your players are more similar to the typical builds that are out there, where guards have decent PA but poor IS, and bigs have good IS but poor PA, then LI is likely to be more effective.

I'd certainly love to hear other peoples' thoughts on this topic though!

I play a lot of LI, and use some times LP. With LI I add rebounds and got great scoring from my guards, probably reaching 120 points but wuth zero or very few 3s. LP Didn't use that much, so I can't help there.

My Cs are pretty good passers, so I had some great perfomances on the passing department.

Pace in LP or LI doesn't matter, it's only trick in which BBs made instruction less clear ;-) There are differences between shot selections. LP is iside oriented tactic whilst LI is outside oriented tactic.

LI is outside oriented?
