i don't like it, since this take tactic out of the game, when you put for example 3-2 and 2-3 zone in the game plan and the coach takes the one who fit best most of the time.

Then you really have an ebay game, where it comes about the quality of the players.

1) A backup plan may be played for the shorter time. Exactly like there are backup players are supposed to play.

2) Currently the coach may change all of his plan for the game upon decision anyhow.

3) Planning a surprising defence that will be used rarely is surely a BB-related feature and not eBay one like the TL-one you ae so widely are using...

1.) but it takes importance of the choosen tactic ;)

2.) he won't he adjust a bit, but he will always worse then someone who choosed the right.

3.) And why it should be them just effective one quarter, and not all 4? And sorry for trading less then you do ;)

It would be kinda fun to see a team that is ahead and has his bench play a lot lose due to that he has set FCP as a backup defense ^^
I guess writing once is not enough...
On current definitions, a coach who takes TO can change is defence upon his decision.
Somehow, it sounds better when the change is not random but user defined.

Wait, it sounds familiar...
Oh, that is exactly what is implemented for the substitutions!!!...

If the coach can change defense he should be able to change the offense too.

If he only could change the defense this would become an ebay game where teams would chase the best defenders...

???
On current game-definitions, the coach replace the defence and the offence every TO.

I agree that having also a secondary offence will be a good idea as well.
Letting the game be less random (letting the coach decide to what will be played after TO) is always a blessing.
