i think you had done a good job till now ;)

Bleacher prices are very good, lower tie could cost a bit more, courtside a bit less, and if you feel the need to change the vip prices reduce it on low step but i think it is not worth it to get to the optimal price in babystep since i believe you will promote earlier then you find it so a reduction is risky since you loose money if the 10 vip didn't appear.

Where to build next it hard to say, since your prices are already low so the roster would have my priority. If you have avaible money, you could keep your scheme.

First off, thank you for your reply Crazy. I just dropped the lower tier from 30 to 25 so where should I raise it to? As for the court side seats, they just went from 100 to 90. Should I drop another 5 or what do you think? Since I'm just not filling 1 seat in the VIP section, I think it's not worth toying with the price there.

Now the problem with my roster is I am training the SH** out of my Center and Power Forward. So I'm just trying to keep up with their growing salaries. As of right now a offsite calculator has me taking a 20K hit from this season to next even with all my arena expansions. All that said I'm kind of torn between continuing arena expansions or looking for better talent at the PG and SG positions.

Should I still go on with roster improvement?

Gate receipts are the largest part of your income, so arena expansion pays long-term dividends. Focus on that, so you can pay those salaries down the road when they really get big. You can cheaply upgrade your guard positions via transfer.

I've made it to DIII with a much smaller arena. And my attendance revenue is only $20K less than the league average and most of those teams have arenas that are twice as big as mine.

Arena expansion is complicated. In general, bigger is better sure. But the more seats you have, the lower price you have to set to get close to full attendance. Thus, I've gotten by thus far by just raising the prices of the seats I have and focusing on building a team which can win. If you don't win, you won't fill a big arena anyway. Plus winning is more fun.

Plus it'll be relatively cheaper (because you'll have much more money) to you to expand later when you sell off some of your trainees once you've developed them a bit.

True, and I plan on building out my arena from time to time. But having good players is more important in my opinion. Besides winning, I know I can sell off parts whenever I'm financially pinched. And, in response to the poster's question, a 7000+ arena is plenty big enough for DV and DIV from my experience.

Next season will be interesting for me as I won't have the promotion bonus and I'm running a break even economy.

Exactly. If you had more seats and found the right price for them, you wouldn't be stuck in a break even economy.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

But then I wouldn't be in DIII yet either.

Then you won't be leaving div.III either. Unless back down to div.IV.

That hurts my feelings Lisa. And I thought my team was doing quite well.
