The DMI carried over from his last gameshape (at the end of last season). That's what all the rookies had a DMI of zero until after this update.
I didn't realise that would affect non-youths.
Seems daft to leave the DMI unchanged from last season after the game shape update. If I see 2 players with very similar skills and the same game shape but vastly different DMI then I'm going to favour the player with more DMI.
Stuff like this should definitely be in the Manual, in the FAQ thread or at the very least in the end of season updates thread...
DMI is all very heavily dependent on gameshape. Probably he had proficient gameshape at the end of last season and now has a much lower DMI due to respectable gameshape.
Is proficient the maximum game shape level?
Can a change of 9 to 7 on Game Shape
really result in a loss of 72% DMI? Seems excessive.
