Definitely not worth it. You only get a couple more pops over 2 seasons, if I remember correctly. Or was it over a course of 5 seasons?

Worst advice ever. Yes it is worth it, IF you have players to match the potential. You're fine with an advanced trainer, but should you have players who have superstar+ potential, then I would absolutely go for the superior trainer. It may make the difference between your player becoming a U21/NT player or not.

I myself have a level 6 trainer, I pay quite some money for it (65k a week at the moment), but my trainees are doing well, with my USA trainee who just turned 19 already at 63 skillpoints. He gets a lot of double pops, so I'm happy to pay this.

Agree on everything you say, was just commenting on that a level 5 trainer is hardly any less then a level 6 and not worth the extra 10k a week :)

I'd gladly pay it. But what matters is the initial cost of the trainer. Level 4 with salary ranging from 11k-15k can be bought for less than 25k. Level 5 trainer with salary 20k-25k is like 250k-300k? So you got to factor cost of trainer, his salary, and the expected product you're making... Sometimes people rather save that money to buy a ready made player. But I've just started playing for a season too and I like training.
