1. Get trainees, 2 or 3 for one Position training or 5-6 for 2 Position training.
2. Get a trainer lvl 4 or better
3. set training and get the trainees to play 48 min per week (set them as substitute for the position and set "strictly follow...")
4. never train 3 positions or team other than stamina and freethrow
5. dont buy 18/19 year old MVP's unless you want to train them
6. save money and dont win a lot (better draft position) or spend some money on players and win more (higher attendance in home games)...your choice

and to complete:
7. Buy older players that you can afford to fill the other positions. The older they are, the cheaper they get on the transfer list, but beware that after 32 their skills will start dropping.

ok, thanks guys :)
Just one more question about 2:
Is it really necessary to get a lvl 4 trainer? Those guys are pretty expensive...
I mean, I've read that training is only about 5% faster per level and I don't want to train national players, since I don't know jack about the game yet and prolly would screw up the player.

Expensive? I'm hearing this a lot from new managers and I don't know where that comes from.
A lvl 4 trainer with 17-18k wage costs about 30-50k. Is this really that much?
And I'd add another advice to all those before me: Always win the game before your home game. It will help your attendance.

You're right, I was looking at the fourth skill from the top in the "hire staff window", but the first skill "minimal" isnt listed, so i was looking at the prices of a lvl 5 trainer.
I will get a lvl 4 trainer then, thanks for the advice :)
