Put him in the starting lineup. The reason your coach may not be playing him is because of your coaching tactic... Which one do you use? Strictly follow depth chart?

Make sure you select "Strictly follow depth chart" and not "Let coach decide."

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

I used strictly follow depth chart, not let coach decide. However, he played all 48 minutes in my national tournament game on thursday.
But, I don't know why the coach doesn't bring him in play when he's a sub. This has never happend to me before. Like he forgets about him or something. This is especially anoying considering his potential and need for training. I think it's just a random bug.

Are you putting him in the 2nd position in the depth chart or the 3rd position? Make sure he's in both the 2nd and 3rd spots and he should get minutes using that strategy but the higher the starter's stamina, the less he'll play

But just keep doing what you did last week, play him all 48 minutes in the cup/scrimmage game on Thursdays.

Excellent point, Beener. The stamina is the key. He has a proficient stamina, and I didn't even put my young player as both first and second sub.
Thanks.
