Yes they can be injured during scrimmage.

Injuries are healed when the season start, but for the first scrimmage of the season you should rather field 4 scrubs (including some your poor draftees before you cut them) plus one trainee . And remove your key player from the start list to avoid any unwanted subsitution.

Coin have two sides.

Possibility for injuries in friendly games are so low. So I prefer to gain some experience for my guys this week. Yes, I know, playing scrimmage does not add much of it. But still, enough to think about such option.

For me it is like this for todays game:

Primary option - training! Of course :)
Secondary - XP.
Third - avoiding injuries

You prefer avoiding injuries over that minimal gain in XP and it is fine. Majority will follow your choice. But there is another option:)

And I dont mind them to get injured in this game. I had couple of injuries in scrimmagies and I still like to dress my players for the first scrimmage of the season. 5 of them today. Two for training, 3 for EX.

Chances of injury in this one are still bigger than the added XP, so if it's your only reason, don't do it :)

You cant compare such things :) It does not have same measure. So it is always biased by preferences :)

Just for the sake of proof, I played a Scrimmage thursday with the manager I'm currently tutoring, and I managed to injure one of his scrubs (Ooops).
