Ok now that thats out of the way, can you elaborate on your ideas about Offsite projects (http://s3.zetaboards.com/BuzzerBeater_USA_NT/index/) and NT staff?

I'll just ignore the bitter troll over there and keep conversation on a more profitable note. This goes to all candidates: in your opinion, what is the single biggest problem of the NT and how do we need to go about fixing it?

Why are we trolling instead of trying to get better. is this a troll USA NT thread or a debate thread? USA is so divided on their NT team that its pretty sad. Not to even find a compromise but theres trolling instead. trolling really brings improvement. America in the 18th-19th Century America made compromises to improve govt but now all they do is troll each other

questions for the people running...I will try to keep it to that everyone I'm talking about is involved.

1st off, how are you going to improve the players? I'd like to see more secondary-efficient players, and less of those Joe Bros, or Jairo prime, or any other 250k+ person. Who would be the people to train those guys? We know that the D4 and D5 guys only listen to U21 and not NT because they want the money now and some are greedy people (SOME, not all) and then some people (D3ers) are trying to promote into D2 and sometimes don't have the time to train, and then you NBBAers already have as much of a load as you can, and you can't take no more (training or salary big time guys, etc.) So where would these guys go? Do we get all the MVP+ guys and let lower division guys train them first off, and then they sale to the big time people? Do we just let them go how they are and hope they won't get salary hiked? Or do the NBBA guys take yet another big sacrifice and train the guys that are open? I know there are some people out there that would listen, but I just think it's too few managers out side USA that are willing to train an NT worthy guy right. Just take this into consideration........

2nd (maybe a question after the news announcement is out) how is the training of the future NT Guys now going to be affected by these game engine changes? Will it mean a good thing or a bad thing?

3rd, what are your goals going to be as NT manager (other then hoisting the trophy) what are your skill goals? Manager goals? NT Staff and Scouters goals?

just asking these few questions.......

Hi, I am one of the candidates in this election.

What I have found to be the biggest problem is the imbalance of the roster. Only 4 players on team are guards (6'7' or less). Slovensko's (Slovakia) NT has 9 and they were the runner up last year! While I understand that big men typically have higher salaries and that our offense is look inside, BUT we need more and better guards. I compared our team's salary to some other teams and we spend a TON on our team. Unfortunately, our results are not paying off. (Our team kind of reminds me of the Lakers this seasons) The issue may be deeper in that guards are not trained as much. If that is the case, then we as a country must encourage the training of our young, talented guards.

I will be constantly checking this thread so keep the questions coming!

1. As stated in my previous post, I would focus on improving the guards since our big men are as good as they can get. A more balanced team is necessary if we want a shot at winning. Specifically, I'd want to make sure that ALL players have good passing in order to keep the ball moving better. Turnovers KILL teams. The U.S. can afford high salary players, that is not the issue in my opinion. We simply need to make better use of the money we spend/waste. The people who should train these NT players should definitely be the NBBA, D.II juggernauts and even SOME D.III teams. It is impossible for the lower teams to control the monstrous salaries. The NBBA specifically should lead by example, and help establish a strong national presence. They can afford the salaries better than anyone else and should bear the burden of training players.

2. No comment until after the announcement.

3. I spend a lot of time on this game and have come to love it. My personal goal is to raise my managing ability to the next level. For the country, I want us to of course win a championship, but more importantly I want to establish a more unified connection between American users. We spend so much time battling each other in our leagues that sometimes we forget that we are ALL made to look bad by other countries. I say it is time to bring the gold back home.
