Shooting guard 1, forget about, unless you make him your 3rd priority.

I'd rotate, between, Pressure (outside defense) and Passing, 1 position training, for the rest of the season. If you only have 2 games in any given week, train them at 1 on 1 forwards.

When you say rotate you mean switch out weekly right? Just making sure. And thanks a ton, I really appreciate it.

Since all three of those players were drafted by you I would keep them around.

I would look to get a couple more trainees and just train 1 on 1 forwards. I wouldn't pay much for the trainees though. Just get some 1000-20,000 cost guys to maybe sell in a year.

The reason 1 on 1 forwards is so good is it trains 3 stats (JS/Handling/IS) that other stats rely upon to train faster.

But if you can't do this, I would go one position training pressure, passing and jump range. Although if you train your handling (to say 10-12 points) pressure and passing will train slightly faster later.

It also looks like you will have a tough time winning your league. If you don't think you can, I would look at expanding your arena in the meantime. This will boost your income and make getting to Div 4 easier. Look at my arena for example. The investment will pay off next season when I fight for a title in Div 4.

Thanks a ton guys. I'm doing the pressure training now. Hopefully this helps my trainees get up to where they need to be haha.

The only downside I've found with one position training is playing players at unnatural positions. Such as playing my SF at PG. Threw off one of my games big time, but it's whatever.

For real though, thank you everyone.

You might enjoy the Training Simulator (229484.1). It can help you figure out what your players could look like with different training plans.

You got a good trainee in PG1, make him your priority with SG2 as other trainee and SG1 let him benefit as much as you can, but not at the cost of the others (train him during the scrimmages when the other two have 48 minutes already).

I'd advise planning your training around your matches. If you 1 or 2 close matchups in a week, train pressure or passing so you can play your trainees at their natural position so you're strong. If you think you'll either lose or win your 2 matchups by a big margin in a week, train Inside scoring or inside defense (or 1v1 Forwards in weeks with 2 games). That way you can do training in unnatural positions when it doesn't hurt you because you'll win/lose anyway.

Another option would be to buy a reasonably cheap PF/C trainee, wouldn't need much potential (all star is more than enough). He could replace SG1 in your rotation, and you can train him in scrimmages when you train outside skills (pressure/passing), and you can train him in your league game when you train inside skills. You'll have a 4th trainee to benefit from 1v1 and JS trainee at the same time, because can only be trained at 2 positions meaning you can train up to 6 players. This way you can always field a competitive roster with trainees at natural positions and also do any training you need.

A good PF uses OD and PA too, so training him isn't wasted but makes him well rounded and cheap for his salary. Maybe he'll even become a good SF if you can include him in enough 1v1 and JS, so he'll train all outside skills except JR.

I don't have much money right now but getting a new trainee doesn't sound like a bad idea. If I can find the money for him I'll go for it.

And thanks for all your advice guys. That training chart will probably come in handy, as will scheduling my training according to the difficulty of my week. Thanks
