#1 No more protection or FAing of NT players on the open market. If the player is no longer good enough for his domestic club, or his domestic club got shutdown for foul play (doping essentially what it could be thought of as) then the player ALSO leaves the game.

Then all the NT players would be bought by team that go bot just to ruin the NT.
You know that would happen.

I like Wolph's idea here.

For 1. Most u21 players here in USA are with original team that drafts them... So nt is not a far stretch from that.
2. I don't know how big a merchandise boost Wolph is talking but being homegrown alone usually gives a pretty good boost.
3. It would be doable to do while even in higher up leagues, you just might have to sacrifice training 3 guys to train 2 or 1 even. But that's if you want an NT player. That's a conscious choice for the owner

I also think it enhances the overall level of competition.

Guys lets not focus on the personal attacks or old money etc comments. Lets stay on task and focus on the idea.

This way you penalize non cheating managers too.

Imagine I buy a player drafted by a farm team and train him to the NT.

This suggestion is absolutely ridiculous.
