I think you should go for promotion. Worst case scenario is that you demote back for a year then promote again. If you stay a year then all you have done is reverse the order of the worst case scenario. Plus, by staying you don't know if some other strong team is going to relegate into your league.

Take the for sure promotion if you have it.

Promote.

You will get a promotion bonus, also you will get a boost in your attendance numbers until the All-Star break so you can bump up your prices and make more $ than below, TV revenue will be much higher as well.

The worst that can happen is you make a whole heap of cash, and if you can't get a team together that keeps you up, shoot for a great draft position and invest in the draft, hopefully pick up a star trainee while landing back in the lower Div where you will dominate and promote almost straight away... and you will have the trophy in your cabinet the whole time.

Didn't know about the boost in attendance, does that happen to everyone that promotes? How long does it last?

It happens to all the teams that promote from winning their leagues. I got bot promoted out of nowhere in the transition from Div IV to Div III so i had no idea about this for some time until I read all the posts in the help and country forums. From what I understand, it carries through to the All-Star break update.

I am hoping to win my div this season and cash in this way myself.

And do you think it balances the low score in fan survey if I start losing a lot of matches?

It gives a good boost and last till all star break roughly. It lowers over time so the longer you go the less it gets. So winning helps but lowing all games in the Div above is going to pay a lot more then winning ever game in your current division.
If you get up and see you can not stay get down to the salary floor and pocket heaps of cash and focus on training for the season.

Yes. Earlier in this season, I lost a lot of games including my rival and TV ones. I wasn't selling out every game, but I was still making almost twice as much of money from home games in D.IV compared to D.V.

its always better to promote unless you are going to div 1 and want to make a run at being the new BBB or something stupid like that.

cash is king in this game. not on hand cash, but the ability to generate cash.
