All games are simulated in full before the match report even starts. It's not a bug, just a (somewhat) lame feature.

Somewhat? I appreciate your quick response, but WHY does continue? It's happened to me TWO times this season and quite frankly, it does tend to take a lot of the fun out of the game (particularly the night's game). If this doesn't happen for EVERY game, then why should it ever happen. It was a complete bummer to know in advance that my #1 scorer was to be injured SOMETIME during the game. Oh well..Pappy

To me, that's a bug. It's the same principle as the full game result being displayed before the game is "over" (which has been treated as a high-priority bug by the BBs in the past)... just a lesser degree of importance.

Let me clarify what I meant for the sake of precision.

There is a known issue where you can see the injuries highlighted in red in the line-up setup for your next game long before the current game is over (or the injury sustained for that matter). This is obviously a bug, but from what I gather it is so low on the list of priorities to fix that some people consider it a semi-feature ;) Even more so that it is generally harmless.

The problem discussed here, however, is a bit more severe, and I agree that it probably should be treated with more urgency.

How does the game engine KNOW in advance that someone will get injured.

are you serious? how could the game engine NOT know this information?

it's just a presentation bug (and i like it, because at least i can watch the game not bothering about the risk of injuries)

And I like it because if i have to leave the home I can atleast see if i get any injuries, and if im home i can hope and watch how many minutes the palyer gets.

Mark—Are YOU serious? If I understand BB at all, it does not seem that there is enough computer time, space, room (whatever the correct term is) for the regular tasks that are done, why do they need to do the games beforehand? And is this really realistic, Mark? to know in advance?

games are calculated in advance, that's why you can modify your team settings only until 15 minutes before the start of the match

the problem is that we need to have setup a whole new set of infrastructure to have the injury field of a player's record have some sort of timestamp.

I guess it would be possible to insert a timestamp on the injury that is equal to the end time of the game, and then make the asp only display the injury after this point. It would have the added benefit of letting us check directly when someone was injured when people complain about injuries taking too long.
