Inside isolation is meant to find your best inside guy but it doesn't mean he will shoot from inside.

I have to agree with what Nickleon is saying here. Your main problem is that you thought inside iso would be an inside focused offence, which sounds like it is, but the offence doesn't mean they will shoot from the inside, per se. Also that, and there are multiple resources which state clear cut what offence is why focus, and what pace.

Actually back to the time when Dwight Howard was still in Orlando Magic (2009?), they used to play 4 three-point shooter with Howard inside. Although they didn't earn the championship, they went pretty far in the playoff.

A better example would be the mid 90s Rockets team with Hakeem. Post player with good skills and when you commit another guy to stop him, ball goes out to the arc and someone knocks down an open three.

Sounds like a balanced offense to me.

Isolation - you give the ball to the best player, others spread the floor, and that player goes one on one against the defender.

In BB inside isolation will give ball to inside players, outside isolation will give ball the the outside players.

Kevin Love would be an example, he's a PF/C but more often shoots 3's than actually bang inside. Nowitzki?

Allright I get it, but guys have you ever seen an inside iso in real life? It's about a freakin big guy receiving the ball every offense en going into the paint every offense until he gets the bucket or gets fouled, these ugly big guys never pass the ball out again, and they better don't because it would be a TO. inside iso and then passing the ball out for three is just a fairy tale guys, never gonna happen. But allright I understand how it works now, apparently the page you showed me has not yet been translated in my language because i couldn't find it.

thanks
