From what I've read from much more intelligent people than me, it isn't a financially wise investment to go above Advanced trainer. I believe a couple of extra pops a year is what you'd expect to see for a much higher increase in trainer cost.

Seems most only recommend higher level trainers only for training U21 or NT players.

I think for now level 4 trainer is good enough,I did not check your roster or arena.
But for most teams in div 3 their arena needs expanding, and that's really very important.later on you can get a better trainer.A level 5 trainer should bring you 2 pops more compared to a level 4 in 1 season , I don't think this is a smart thing to do right now.

*I guess this is your main trainee Pan Quanfeng ,this guy is from China a big country, and that's very hard to train this player for U21.And your arena needs expanding ,so I would choose a level 4 trainer.

The beset place to get information about training is the Crowdsourced Training project, which is described here (203921.1)

Lots of good stuff in there about training speeds in relation to player age, height, etc. There is also a section on trainer level. From those data, there's actually not a huge difference between level 4 and level 5 trainers. Check it out!
