My stats are deceiving high because I beat a bot team. I barely beat Hardmoney Outlaws on opening day.

This league is still strong but not as much without Jungle Fever or a Division III relegated team.

I noticed that The 88s and Rhino’s Rage transferred out some good players for some good money.

With all of the bot teams around here I also get to play a Division III team in the very first round. On the bright side if I lose my first cup game then I can always use my best lineup here and win more league games.

I'm just coasting, trying to hoard cash. I might demote to D.V this year for better draft picks. But I'm up to 2 mil already, and I don't plan on making a run til I get at least 10 mil in the bank.

A good way to save money is to have a low payroll. My payroll has grown to $200k because of some pay raises without an increase in revenue.

My main team is losing money before the cup revenue while my new utopia team is making money because of the payroll.

I might go with a low payroll for my utopia team if there is no salary floor for the first season. I could make $1 million per season while enlarging my arena.

Our salary floor is $55k and that is not enough to survive this league. The money and the competition in Division V is too poor for me to want to ever go back.

I see that Doyle was a great draft pick with a $16k salary at just 20yo. My draft picks are all retired.

Now I get another Division III opponent in the cup while I have an injured starter.

There is a lot of luck involved in the draft and the cup.

It official, BB draft is dumb. For investing 100k+ a season I have had crap return. I needed to get a bit younger so I sold a okay 30 year SG and got a younger SF. After tonight Ill be 2-2 and on my way for a push for higher game shape. I will expand my arena this season at some point soon I hope.

The draft involves too much luck. A team called Connecticut Cresleys received $3 million for two of its draft picks this season.

The cup is not organized. It takes good luck with favorable draws to have a long cup run.

Attendance often does not make sense. I pulled off a big upset on the road against Clawz but my arena for my next home game was only 68% full. This comes with my team having its best season ever.

It looks like The Lords are playing the best basketball right now although Clawz still has the best record and highest PD.

Am I wrong to think that any one of the final four teams can win this league? Is everyone afraid to jinx themselves if they claim superiority over the rest?

Hey I agree. I have been M.I.A. most this season. The battle between our two teams should be close. I think its all even.

This is the Final 4 that I expected to see. It comes down to which team is playing better basketball right now while avoiding key injuries.
