I see your point. Although if I sold both bigmen, I would have a giant hole at Center. Also, I'm starting to doubt that Zurita will sell for the 800k he's listed for anyway. But yeah selling both Ian Kosta and Marek Kutzreba would leave a giant hole inside. Both of them combined would sell for less than 1 million most likely, so it's just less profitable. This strategy just keeps the roster fresh with young talent, talent than can replace the veterans in a few seasons. Good point though. Let's keep this thread goin!

I'm aware of the shortness of players situation. And I'm more obliged to do what you said, possibly. Mainly because I would save about 90k a week in payroll, it's definetely worth checking out!

I see this working more if you are training SFs and only purchasing SF height prospects....

I am doing something similar though not yet with the selling and I have not yet bought any trainees either in those spots... All homegrown there currently

Hey you gotta start somewhere right? And I think it can work with guards or big men as long as the two trainees are the same.

Agreed... but overall it'd be easier if you did it with SFs... Cause then, you can have the bigs or guards as needed based on training as well. and that way can "almost always" play with the best possible lineup you can.

Yep. That's a good point. One SF prospect to train with another guard/big man of your choice. Definitely something to keep in mind.

Training and selling players is definitely a big part of building a contender. The other big part is building your arena. Every time you add to your arena, you are increasing your future earnings.
