I would add to Gully's very sensible post that the 3 main drivers to a trainee value are: potential, total skill points and age (18yo are worth more than 19yo because they can reach their potential faster and at a younger age). 45+ skill points and low potential (starter, star) are almost always worth something and the same goes for high potential lower skill points trainees. Height also plays a role combined with how the skill points are distributed but that's probably less of a factor at such a young age. A 18yo trainee with close to 60 skill points and MVP or better potential are worth (and will sell for) a LOT of money.

As well as drawing people's attention to my remarkably well written post that starts this thread (I jest of course) I'd like to remind people that the draft is on monday and so it would probably be a good idea to make sure your draft order is set. As they say in more movies than they should: "Now would be a good time."

Official s35 draft thread?

I got one trainable and two likely sellable which isn't bad for 10k/week and 9th pick. Got my first 9+ potential guy, just a shame he's 19 and the most trainable one has the lowest potential (allstar...which is fine I guess)

edit: after another look I actually got my 1st and 2nd picks, nice!

Official s35 draft thread?

This is as good a place as any to discuss it.

Well I got absolutely nothing, not even a player with any resale. Hope others did a bit better.

Have you checked all the sofas for any extra change? You know who you want.
