The other usual post is something like this:

To all of the new teams, the Cup is a waste of time and it hurts your GS! You should tank it Week 1!

Does anyone make any money here?! The salaries y'all pay are absurd.

Not really. You either make money and fight relegation, or you tread water.

The salaries y'all pay are absurd.

Yup.

There's actually a 3rd category where you lose money and still fight relegation. That's me.

You only make money if you tank and go back to Div II.

i would like to offer my help to our newbies, as well!

don't raise ticket prices too high! fans don't like to be gouged!

save your money! NBBA-caliber players are overpriced! prices are best just after the playoffs begin!

and, because i know you are busy, i have found a player who can be the foundation of a franchise, Rod Peacock (10061240), a player with very high potential and experience:

Jump Shot: atrocious Jump Range: atrocious
Outside Def.: atrocious Handling: atrocious
Driving: atrocious Passing: atrocious
Inside Shot: atrocious Inside Def.: pitiful
Rebounding: atrocious Shot Blocking: pitiful
Stamina: atrocious Free Throw: pitiful

It's a shame you had to ruin what was otherwise good advice by this obvious, self-serving ploy to get people to waste money on shot blocking. You're already the defending champ, you don't have to resort to this.

That guy would actually be one of my better interior defenders.
Even just among players classified by BB as a PF/C, & limited to my first page of players, he's better than 13 of them.

$200k is pretty steep though.

i'm glad TnT pointed out your triumph -- that is totally cool.

of course, Reed Purdy would have made the victory easier . . .
