Lots of teams in real life foul early, maybe not as early as your team but pretty close to where at. And teams have bad minutes! Basketball is a game of runs, teams can get out scored by 12 in a minute easily (I haven't even looked at you score, I'm just saying that). I've watched some of my favorite teams score 0 points in 5 minute over times, it's frustrating yes but it does happen. I think in this case te GE is fine.

sorry but do u watch basketball? what team would play the foul game in a 1 possession game with 1 minute to go?

fyi in case you didnt know, the foul game is basically when the coach tells the player to keep fouling until it reaches the penalty and in case you didnt know, penalty means free throws for the other team

Yeah I do, a lot. If some one can't shoot FT to save their life, in a 1 possession game I'd foul. I've also seen plenty of coaches foul.

I do understand what you're saying, it's rare but it does happen and did in your case

Playoff game, down 3 with 1 minute to go, the Game Engine decides to coach my team to play the foul game? All my WOT??(85302469) Foul game normally only applies when the game is down to the last possession but clearly this wasn't the case here.

Also, seems like the team stopped playing basketball altogether and went on a crazed rampage all in the last 1 minute, which may be salvaged had they played properly. Why do I feel like the game engine could improve on late game performances?


Considering the foul that gave away the two free throws at 0:54 was a full 8 seconds after the previous fouls (which were to get to the bonus, occurring in 2 seconds time for each), maybe it's just a normal defensive foul rather than an intentional one? The one later at 0:47 was probably intentional, since it was 2 seconds after the opponent got a rebound and you were down 5 at that point with only enough time remaining for one guaranteed possession.

This is totally true, it also hapenned to me many times. Lategame is obviously not well implemented and needs some fix.
When your down by few points and game is ending, all your team does is foul and then shoot 3pointers with 5sec possessions. This should really be fixed because makes the engine look bad and almost always makes loosers in close games mad lol.

You want your team to kill clock when trailing in the last minute of the game?

And i dont understand a barrage of 3s (maybe if you run outside offense it makes sense) in a 1-4 point game, but 5+ i am happy wirh my team shooting 3s

We are talking about games down 1 with a minute left. why fault and give free scoring? or shoot a bad 3 when u can take some more secondw for a better look..its not like last 10 secs.
