There have been other threads about this. Generally it would seem most people are in favour of retaining the current system. Strongest against weakest favours the strong, allowing them to earn more money than those who already have less and are chasing. A random draw is fairer to everyone.

There could still be bots in the second or third round, but because they eliminated human teams first.

That's my point. Why to pair first division teams against each other, while there are some bots left?

Have to agree with this.. Might take a bit of money from lower teams every season but it would definitely make the cup more interesting (even for the lower teams) playing human managers earlier on.

I'm in favor of keeping the current system, but it has also been proposed that bot teams shouldn't be able to play against each other and it seems a fair proposition. There could still be bots in the secound or third round, but because they eliminated human teams first.

I'm not as against this as I would be a seeded draw, but it would make the first round in many countries extremely boring. I'd rather see the first round removed altogether in countries where bots exceed human teams, than have a cup round that was entirely human vs bot.
