That looks like a very nice Top league. Now I want them to hurry up and merge Asia.

The BBs haven't discussed how a merge would work in other countries. In Africa the largest country is South Africa, which has less users than Japan, so I wouldn't pin your hopes on being included in any Asian merger until the BBs says so. Which they should really be doing now. This is a very important issue and the BBs should have said by now what future mergers might look like. Perhaps this thread might provoke a response.

Perhaps they simply use this merge to figure out how to do it successfully from a technical point of view. If this is the case, I hope that they announce future mergers during next season. Hopefully Denmark will be merged some day.

We are about to lose another 20+ season user, he goes bot in 3 weeks. People want an Asia merger. Without it, we will probably be losing more users.

Despite technical problems that may or may not happen, they must have some idea what they want to do, or why even start? To keep people in the dark completely is just wrong.

There's another issue which I've raised elsewhere. Over 20% of last season's African teams have gone bot since the merger was announced. I don't think mergers are going to stop people leaving.

Other mergers will follow. Africa will be a kind of beta test. Remember what the BB said in march :

Next season (39) we will have our very first nations merger! The United Nations of Africa (not an official name yet) will be the first international league to feature teams from several different countries (if we don’t count Utopia, of course). These countries will keep their national teams and their players and draftees will still keep the nationality of their original nations, but the league will otherwise function just like any other: one top division, one cup and therefore, only two B3 contestant spots. Teams will be assigned in divisions based on their world ranking, with the top ranked teams filling the top division. In case this experiment proves successful, we will consider merging other nations with a low manager count in different international leagues.

I guess they'll merge pretty soon the Caribbean for example
