I don't have statistical data to back up my observation, just personal feeling:
experienced guys, coming from the bench are very effective skills wise (they are playing way better, then same skill set guys)
For example:
low skill free throw guy still will be able to score 2 of 2,
higher percent shooting,
key rebounds, steals, blocks in crucial moments etc.
worked good for me only with limited minutes (from the bench) though

Thats what I remember also, but was wondering if there have been any data-based experience on this. It would be cool if there was added some kind of "hints" in play-by-play mode about those crucial blocks, steals or tough shots made by high experience guys
