Obviously when the beneficiary is one it can certainly be a cause for joy.
The problem is that this game involves an ecosystem where 16 teams fight to be champions or not to be relegated.
There, the question seems to me to be of the order of the common good and the general interest.
I think it affects competition and fair play, causing random pros and cons that can effectively ruin a season for more than one team. Especially those who fight difficult positions in descent and entry to PO.
However, in mine post I was referring to national teams, when in the Consolation Tournament some are "lucky" to play with national teams that function as bots, while others do not. And when entering the definition depends a lot on the games won and score average, those victories and 50 points are a nice wall (for or against).
