I assume the update just checks the players that are currently on a roster. So the player just gets paid twice.

If that were true, players could also go unpaid.

Yea but they get a first weeks salary once they join the new team no? Iirc there was something like that, or am I mistaken?

Oh now you mentioned it I think I confused it with the staff severance package (having to pay your old staff one final week instead of the new staff the first week's pay).

Yea you're right, it shouldn't really be a problem, especially when the players don't have a family to feed (or even themselves to feed). But I guess it is just something we wonder about despite it not affecting anything xD
